Cost depends on the boat, the length of the charter and your party size, so we quote for your specific day. The quote covers the private boat, skipper, fuel and on-board refreshments. We’re happy to arrange a private transfer from Florence separately.
How many people fit on the boat?
The charter is private for your party. We match the boat to your group, from couples to families and small groups — just tell us the numbers.
Can we swim during the tour?
Yes. Swim stops in the protected marine reserve are part of every itinerary, weather permitting. Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.
Is food and drink included?
Local snacks and wine are served on board, and the longer itineraries include a sunset aperitivo. A full lunch ashore or on board can be arranged on request.
How do we get to the Cinque Terre from Florence?
We arrange a private car and driver from Florence to the coast — roughly two and a half hours — so you step from the car onto the boat with no logistics to manage.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If the sea is too rough we reschedule or propose an alternative, and we’re always in touch the day before to confirm.
When is the best time for a boat tour?
May to early October offers the warmest water and best light. July and August are busiest on land, which is exactly why the sea is the finest place to be.
Can the boat tour be combined with a guided village visit?
Yes. We can add a licensed local guide ashore, or combine the boat with our land-based day trip so you experience the villages both from the water and on foot.
