Hi everyone! Today I want to talk about a wonderful experience I had here in Florence: the cruise on the Arno River with Arno Boat!
Did you know that you can admire Florence from a completely different perspective, right from the Arno River? This boat tour is ideal for those who want to discover the beauty of the city from a unique and unforgettable angle.
Starting from their dock, which is located right along Lungarno Diaz, Arno Boat took us on a one-hour mini cruise, passing under Florence’s most famous bridges: Ponte Vecchio, Ponte Santa Trinita, and Ponte alla Carraia. In addition, they showed us places and corners that we don’t normally see, but that can be admired in all their beauty from the boat.
What impressed me the most was the atmosphere on board the boat: completely green and powered by solar panels, Arno Boat is committed to respecting the environment in which it navigates, and this is a big plus for us who want to travel sustainably. Additionally, the tour also includes a focus on the history of the city, in both Italian and English, to discover even more about Florence and its treasures.
As for prices, there are several options available. For Florence residents, the full ticket costs 19 euros, while for those over 65 and children aged 6 to 12, the cost is 15 euros. Children under 6 can travel for free. If you’re not a resident, the full ticket costs 25 euros.

Personally, I found the experience very enjoyable and recommend everyone to try this mini cruise on the Arno. The departure times are convenient and suitable for all needs, with departures from 10:30 am to 9:30 pm, and you can buy tickets both online and directly at the dock.
I can’t wait to go back on Arno Boat for a new adventure on the river!
